In deed, the entire world revolves around these simple lime stone rocks: these collection of scattered beaches. This place where men travel from afar to claim, to be a part of, to be connected to.
We are the new Mecca. The journey place; the sacred place; the place of learning, where all things will begin and eventually end. This place that we call the Bahamas is where God rests, where God seethes, where God thinks up his new miracles.
We are that Holy Grail that caught His blood during that ageless time; We are the shroud that covered His body at the end; We are that tree that held His weight when He needed support. We are one of His miracles that He holds dear. We are the multitude that He preached to on the mount. We are the chosen people that carry out His word. We are the people He delivered to this promise land.
Truly, we are special. Special in that we are still new, still growing, still evolving. We are special because we are old and ancient, with an ageless history. A history that stretched to the begining of time to the present. We are special because we all are connected and are a part of one family: the final family. We are special because we still listen, and moreso still whisper and hold in regard that which is sacred.
We are the hidden Eden; the mysterious Atlantis: the storage bins that hold the grain for the world. We are the alter from which praises are sent up from. We are the burnt offering, something from which is holy. We were purposefully molded, purposefully defined to be here at this instant, at this time to make a difference; to be the final guiding light of the world. We are the capital and the entire world seeks us out to pay homage to God!
