Casino operators blocking Bahamians from gambling??

It is so sad when you see Bahamians easily duped by political rhetoric: Sadly AGAIN, we see the rhetoric about gambling resurfacing. Bahamians are down right too emotional and easily inflamed with half notions of the truths. Bahamians need to demand the full truth and stop being easily manipulated. Gambling in the Bahamas is a non issue, unless you want to gamble in the casinos: the last station of social equality where Bahamians have been barred from.

Gambling is not illegal in the Bahamas…its just not permitted by a few…White foreign people gamble here in the islands of the Bahamas all the time. In fact, they take home millions on top of millions of dollars annually, and in truth, Bahamians benefit tremendously from this, via tax and casino jobs etc.

However, the debate still continues. Today, we see our PM joined the commentary, just like Obie Wilchcombe them of yesterday, (when him and his cronnies talking bout refferandam and stuff regarding gambling). Today, we see our good Prime Minister suggesting utter foolishness that the supposed illegal number houses SEEMS not able to be curbed/shut down stopped ect. I think he used the term it was unenforceable or some foolishness like that…. To that I say the PM is a liar….THE PM IS A DAMN LIAR! there that should get watsayu’s attention. The truth is thee is no political will to stop gambling. The laws aren’t enforced moreso the penalty for illegal gambling is a piss in a bucket fine: which gamblers gladly pay. We all know for a fact that Flowers does donate big monies to various places…whispers I can’t say to political houses cause I can’t prove it, but we Bahamians know…wink, wink…we aint gat to say it out loud. Percy has been financing people’s political aspirations for years and their pay back was/is not to be raided, often, moreso, to keep the laws at bay by just having them pay a fine..and a small fine at that. Its a win-win situation: where both sides are awarded generously, even the police.

But the question should be,who benefits more by having Bahamians not permitted to enter the casinos. Is it the numbermen, the casinos alternative who makes millions by not paying taxes? Is it the politicians whose pockets continuouly and mysteriouly get fat after every 5 years? Is it CoB who got free flowers computers, is it MOE who got the same? Or is it the casino operators who despeately attempts to control the disorderly conduct of some Bahamians, who now wants entrance and acceptance to their casinos. Or will the casinos continue to be off limits to Bahamians? We need to ask the tough questions Bahamas, and stop letting these politicians drive us crazy with their utter nonsense.
